Saline County is located in Central Kansas. It is named for the Saline River, which flows through the county.
The seat and largest city are both Salina.
Saline County is bordered by Ottawa, Dickinson, Marion, McPherson, Ellsworth and Lincoln Counties.
Main highways through the county include I-70, I-135 and US-40.
